✧ The virtue of the adhan

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ ابْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ:
كُنْتُ فِي حِجْرِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ فَقَالَ: أَيْ بُنَيَّ إِذَا كُنْتَ فِي الْبَوَادِي فَارْفَعْ صَوْتَكَ بِالْأَذَانِ فَإِنِّي سَمِعْتُهُ، - يَعْنِي النَّبِيَّ ﷺ - يَقُولُ: مَا مِنْ جِنٍّ، وَلَا إِنْسٍ، وَلَا حَجَرٍ، وَلَا شَجَرٍ إِلَّا شَهِدَ لَهُ
Translation
✧ I was in the lap of Abu Sa'id al-Khudri, and he said: O my son, if you are in the deserts, raise your voice with the adhan, for I heard him—meaning the Prophet ﷺ—say: There is no jinn, no human, no stone, and no tree except that it bears witness for him.
