✧ When a man should stand for prayer when he hears the adhan

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ ابْنِ التَّيْمِيِّ، عَنِ الصَّلْتِ، عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ، عَنْ أُمِّهِ، عَنْ أُمِّ حَبِيبَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ
كَانَ فِي بَيْتِهَا فَسَمِعَ الْمُؤَذِّنَ فَقَالَ كَمَا يَقُولُ: فَلَمَّا قَالَ: حَيَّ عَلَى الصَّلَاةِ، نَهَضَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ
Translation
✧ He was in her house and heard the muezzin, and said as he said. When he said: Come to prayer, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ rose for prayer.
