عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، أَنَّ ابْنَ عُمَرَ قَالَ:
الْإِمَامُ ضَامِنٌ إِنْ قَدَّمَ أَوْ أَخَّرَ، وَأَحْسَنَ أَوْ أَسَاءَ
Translation
✧ The imam is a guarantor whether he advances or delays, and whether he does well or badly.
