✧ The muezzin is a trustee and the imam is a guarantor

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ ابْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ سُهَيْلِ بْنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:
الْمُؤَذِّنُونَ الْأُمَنَاءُ، وَالْأَئِمَّةُ ضُمَنَاءُ أَرْشَدَ اللهُ الْأَئِمَّةَ، وَيَغْفِرُ لِلْمُؤَذِّنِينَ
Translation
✧ The muezzins are the trustees, and the imams are the guarantors. May God guide the imams and forgive the muezzins.
