✧ The muezzin is a trustee and the imam is a guarantor

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، وَالثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ ذَكْوَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:
الْإِمَامُ ضَامِنٌ، وَالْمُؤَذِّنُ أَمِينٌ، اللَّهُمَّ أَرْشِدِ الْأَئِمَّةَ، وَاغْفِرْ لِلْمُؤَذِّنِينَ
Translation
✧ The imam is a guarantor, and the muezzin is a trustee. O God, guide the imams and forgive the muezzins.
