✧ The muezzin has more right to the call to prayer, and does the imam call the adhan?

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنْ إِسْرَائِيلَ، عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ سَمُرَةَ يَقُولُ:
كَانَ مُؤَذِّنُ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ يُؤَذِّنُ، ثُمَّ يُمْهِلُ فَلَا يُقِيمُ حَتَّى إِذَا رَأَى نَبِيَّ اللهِ ﷺ قَدْ خَرَجَ أَقَامَ الصَّلَاةَ حِينَ يَرَاهُ
Translation
✧ The muezzin of the Messenger of God ﷺ would give the adhan, then wait and would not give the iqamah until he saw the Prophet of God ﷺ come out, then he would give the iqamah for the prayer when he saw him.
