✧ Prayer is better than sleep

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ،
أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقُولُ فِي التَّثْوِيبِ: إِذَا قَالَ فِي الْأَذَانِ: حَيَّ عَلَى الْفَلَاحِ، حَيَّ عَلَى الْفَلَاحِ قَالَ: الصَّلَاةُ خَيْرٌ مِنَ النَّوْمِ.
Translation
✧ In the tathwib, when he said in the call to prayer, 'Come to success, come to success,' he would say, 'Prayer is better than sleep.'
