✧ The beginning of the call to prayer

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ،
أَنَّهُ كَانَ يُقِيمُ الصَّلَاةَ فِي السَّفَرِ يَقُولُهَا مَرَّتَيْنِ - أَوْ ثَلَاثًا - يَقُولُ: حَيَّ عَلَى الصَّلَاةِ حَيَّ عَلَى الصَّلَاةِ، حَيَّ عَلَى خَيْرِ الْعَمَلِ
Translation
✧ That he used to perform the iqamah for the prayer during travel, saying it twice - or three times - saying: 'Come to prayer, come to prayer, come to the best of deeds.'
