✧ Ablution in a Copper Vessel

عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ: أُخْبِرْتُ عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ:
نُهِيتُ أَنْ أَتَوَضَّأَ فِي النُّحَاسِ، وَأَنْ آتِيَ أَهْلِي فِي غُرَّةِ الْهِلَالِ، وَإِذَا انْتَبَهْتُ مِنْ سِنَتِي لِلصَّلَاةِ أَنْ أَسْتَاكَ
Translation
✧ I was forbidden to perform ablution in copper, to approach my wife at the beginning of the lunar month, and to use the toothstick when I wake from sleep for prayer.
