✧ Ablution in a Copper Vessel

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فِي مَرَضِهِ الَّذِي مَاتَ فِيهِ:
صُبُّوا عَلَيَّ مِنْ سَبْعِ قِرَبٍ لَمْ تُحْلَلْ أَوْكِيَتُهُنَّ فَأَعْهَدُ إِلَى النَّاسِ قَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ: فَأَجْلَسْنَاهُ فِي مِخْضَبٍ لِحَفْصَةَ مِنْ نُحَاسٍ وَسَكَبْنَا عَلَيْهِ الْمَاءَ مِنْهُنَّ حَتَّى طَفِقَ يُشِيرُ إِلَيْنَا أَنْ قَدْ فَعَلْتُنَّ، ثُمَّ خَرَجَ
Translation
✧ Pour upon me from seven waterskins whose mouths have not been untied, so that I may make a covenant with the people. Aisha said: So we seated him in a copper washing tub belonging to Hafsa, and we poured water upon him from them until he began gesturing to us that you have done enough, then he went out.
