عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ: قَالَ نَافِعُ بْنُ جُبَيْرٍ، وَغَيْرُهُ:
لَمَّا أَصْبَحَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ مِنَ اللَّيْلَةِ الَّتِي أُسْرِيَ بِهِ فِيهَا لَمْ يَرُعْهُ إِلَّا جِبْرِيلُ يَتَدَلَّى حِينَ زَاغَتِ الشَّمْسُ، وَلِذَلِكَ سُمِّيَتِ الْأُولَى، فَأَمَرَ فَصِيحَ فِي النَّاسِ لِلصَّلَاةِ جَامِعَةٌ، فَاجْتَمَعُوا فَصَلَّى جِبْرِيلُ بِالنَّبِيِّ ﷺ، وَصَلَّى النَّبِيُّ ﷺ لِلنَّاسِ طَوَّلَ الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ الْأُولَيَيْنِ، ثُمَّ قَصَّرَ الْبَاقِيَتَيْنِ، ثُمَّ سَلَّمَ جِبْرِيلُ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ، وَسَلَّمَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ عَلَى النَّاسِ، ثُمَّ فِي الْعَصْرِ عَلَى مِثْلِ ذَلِكَ، فَفَعَلُوا كَمَا فَعَلُوا فِي الظُّهْرِ، ثُمَّ نَزَلَ فِي أَوَّلِ اللَّيْلِ فَصِيحَ: الصَّلَاةُ جَامِعَةٌ، فَصَلَّى جِبْرِيلُ بِالنَّبِيِّ ﷺ، وَصَلَّى النَّبِيُّ ﷺ، فَقَرَأَ فِي الْأُولَيَيْنِ وَطَوَّلَ وَجَهَرَ، وَقَصَّرَ فِي الْبَاقِيَتَيْنِ، ثُمَّ سَلَّمَ جِبْرِيلُ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ، ثُمَّ سَلَّمَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ عَلَى النَّاسِ
Translation
✧ When the Prophet ﷺ arose in the morning after the night in which he was taken on the Night Journey, nothing startled him except Jibril descending when the sun had declined; for that reason it was called the first. He ordered that the call be made among the people for a congregational prayer. They gathered, and Jibril led the Prophet ﷺ, and the Prophet ﷺ led the people. He lengthened the first two rak'ahs, then shortened the remaining two. Then Jibril greeted the Prophet ﷺ with salam, and the Prophet ﷺ greeted the people. Then at 'Asr similarly, they did as they had done at Zuhr. Then at the beginning of the night he descended, and the call was made: prayer in congregation. Jibril led the Prophet ﷺ, and the Prophet ﷺ led the people. He recited in the first two and lengthened and recited aloud, and he shortened in the remaining two. Then Jibril greeted the Prophet ﷺ, and the Prophet ﷺ greeted the people.
