عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِي رَزِينٍ قَالَ:
خَاصَمَ نَافِعُ بْنُ الْأَزْرَقِ ابْنَ الْعَبَّاسِ، فَقَالَ: هَلْ تَجِدُ الصَّلَوَاتِ الْخَمْسَ فِي الْقُرْآنِ ؟ فَقَالَ: نَعَمْ، ثُمَّ قَرَأَ عَلَيْهِ: ﴿فَسُبْحَانَ اللهِ حِينَ تُمْسُونَ وَحِينَ تُصْبِحُونَ ﴾الْمَغْرِبُ وَالْفَجْرُ، وَعَشِيًّا الْعَصْرُ ﴿وَحِينَ تُظْهِرُونَ ﴾الظُّهْرُ قَالَ: ﴿وَمِنْ بَعْدِ صَلاةِ الْعِشَاءِ ﴾
Translation
✧ Nafi' b. al-Azraq disputed with Ibn al-'Abbas and said: Do you find the five prayers in the Quran? He said: Yes. Then he recited to him: “So glory be to Allah when you enter the evening and when you enter the morning”—that is Maghrib and Fajr—“and in the afternoon”—that is 'Asr—“and when you reach midday”—that is Zuhr. He said: “And after the 'Isha prayer.”
