A man threw a stone at his mother and killed her. The matter was brought before ʿAlī b. Abī Ṭālib, and he ruled that he must pay the blood money (diyah), and he did not let him inherit anything from her. And he said: "Your share of her inheritance is for the stone," or he said: "The stone."
