✧ Eating garlic and onion then entering the mosque

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هَارُونَ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:
مَنْ أَكَلَ هَذِهِ الشَّجَرَةَ - يَعْنِي الثُّومَ - فَلَا يَقْرَبَنَّ مَسْجِدِي هَذَا وَلَا يَأْتِينَا يَمْسَحُ جَبْهَتَهُ قَالَ: قُلْتُ: يَا أَبَا سَعِيدٍ: أَحَرَامٌ هِيَ ؟ قَالَ: لَا، إِنَّمَا كَرِهَهَا النَّبِيُّ ﷺ مِنْ أَجْلِ رِيحِهَا
Translation
✧ Whoever eats this plant—meaning garlic—let him not come near this mosque of mine, and let him not come to us wiping his forehead. He said: 'I said: O Abu Sa'id, is it forbidden?' He said: 'No, the Prophet ﷺ only disliked it because of its smell.'
