✧ Buying and selling and settling disputes in the mosque, and what is kept away from the mosque

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ خُصَيْفَةَ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ ثَوْبَانَ يَقُولُ:
كَانَ يُقَالُ: إِذَا نَشَدَ النَّاشِدُ الضَّالَّةَ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ قَالَ: لَا رَدَّهَا اللهُ عَلَيْكَ فَإِذَا اشْتَرَى أَوْ بَاعَ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ قِيلَ: لَا أَرْبَحَ اللهُ تِجَارَتَكَ.
Translation
✧ It used to be said: When someone announces a lost item in the mosque, say: 'May Allah not return it to you.' And when someone buys or sells in the mosque, it is said: 'May Allah not profit your trade.'
