أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ:
سَمِعْتُ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنَ مُوسَى يَقُولُ لِعَطَاءٍ وَأَنَا أَسْمَعُ: رَجُلٌ وُهِبَ مُهْرًا فَنَمَا عِنْدَهُ، ثُمَّ عَادَ فِيهِ الْوَاهِبُ، قَالَ: أَرَى أَنْ يُقَوَّمَ قِيمَتَهُ يَوْمَ وَهَبَهُ، فَقَالَ سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ مُوسَى: فَعَلَ ذَلِكَ رَجُلٌ بِالشَّامِ فَكَتَبَ عُمَرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ: إِنَّمَا يَعُودُ فِي الْمَوَاهِبِ النِّسَاءُ وَشِرَارُ الرِّجَالِ، قِفِ الْوَاهِبَ عَلَانِيَةً، فَإِنْ عَادَ فِيهِ فَأَقِمْهُ قِيمَةَ يَوْمَ وَهَبَهُ أَوْ شَرْوَى الْمُهْرِ يَوْمَ وَهَبَهُ، فَلْيَدْفَعْهُ إِلَى الْوَاهِبِ
