Translation

✧ O Messenger of God, which part of the night is best? He said: The last portion of the night. He said: Then prayer is accepted until the dawn prayer, then no prayer until sunrise, then prayer is accepted until the 'Asr prayer, then no prayer until the sun sets. He said: I said: O Messenger of God, how is the night prayer? He said: Two by two. I said: How is the daytime prayer? He said: Four by four. He said: And whoever sends one blessing upon me, God records for him a qirat, and the qirat is like Uhud. When a servant stands to perform ablution and washes his palms, his sins depart from his palms; then when he rinses his mouth and sniffs water, his sins depart from his nostrils; then when he washes his face, his sins depart from his face, his hearing, and his sight; then when he washes his forearms, his sins depart from his forearms; then when he wipes his head, his sins depart from his head; then when he washes his feet, his sins depart from his feet; then when he stands for prayer, he comes out of his sins as on the day his mother bore him.
