أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنِ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ، عَنْ شُرَيْحٍ قَالَ:
اخْتَصَمَ إِلَيْهِ رَجُلَانِ فِي فَرَسٍ ادَّعَيَاهَا جَمِيعًا، وَهِيَ فِي يَدِ أَحَدِهِمَا، فَأَقَامَ كُلُّ وَاحِدٍ مِنْهُمَا بَيِّنَةً أَنَّهُ نَتَجَهَا، فَقَالَ شُرَيْحٌ: " النَّاتِجُ أَحَقُّ مِنَ الْعَارِفِ "، وَجَعَلَهَا لِلَّذِي هِيَ فِي يَدَيْهِ، وَقَالَ: " إِنَّ هَؤُلَاءِ لَمْ يَزَالُوا يَرَوْنَهَا فِي يَدَيْهِ، وَهَؤُلَاءِ عَرَفُوهَا بِزَعْمِهِمْ
