عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ ابْنِ التَّيْمِيِّ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ عُمَيْرٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو الْأَوْبَرِ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ،
وَقَالَ لَهُ رَجُلٌ: يَا أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنْتَ نَهَيْتَ النَّاسَ أَنْ يَصُومُوا يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ ؟ فَقَالَ: لَا لَعَمْرُكَ مَا أَنَا نَهَيْتُ النَّاسَ أَنْ يَصُومُوا يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ غَيْرَ أَنِّي وَرَبِّ هَذِهِ الْحُرْمَةِ، قَالَهَا ثَلَاثًا لَقَدْ سَمِعْتُ نَبِيَّ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ: لَا يَخُصَّنَّ أَحَدُكُمْ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ بِصَوْمٍ إِلَّا أَنْ يَصُومُوا أَيَّامًا أُخَرَ قَالَ: فَلَمْ أَبْرَحْ مَعَهُ حَتَّى جَاءَهُ آخَرُ، فَقَالَ: يَا أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنْتَ نَهَيْتَ النَّاسَ أَنْ يُصَلُّوا فِي نِعَالِهِمْ ؟ فَقَالَ: لَا لَعَمْرُ اللهِ مَا نَهَيْتُ النَّاسَ أَنْ يُصَلُّوا فِي نِعَالِهِمْ غَيْرَ أَنِّي وَرَبِّ هَذِهِ الْحُرْمَةِ - حَتَّى قَالَهَا: ثَلَاثًا - لَقَدْ رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ هَاهُنَا عِنْدَ الْمَقَامِ يُصَلِّي وَعَلَيْهِ نَعْلَاهُ، ثُمَّ انْصَرَفَ وَهُمَا عَلَيْهِ
Translation
✧ A man said to him: O Abū Hurayrah, did you forbid people to fast on Friday? He said: No, by your life, I did not forbid people to fast on Friday, except that I, by the Lord of this sanctuary—he said it three times—heard the Prophet of God ﷺ say: None of you should single out Friday for fasting unless he fasts other days as well. He said: I did not leave him until another came to him and said: O Abū Hurayrah, did you forbid people to pray in their sandals? He said: No, by God, I did not forbid people to pray in their sandals, except that I, by the Lord of this sanctuary—until he said it three times—saw the Prophet ﷺ here at the Maqām praying with his sandals on, then he left with them on.
