Machine translation, not reviewed

We were with him, and he was wearing two garments dyed with red clay. He blew his nose, then wiped his nose with his garment. He said: "Praise be to God! Abū Hurayrah blows his nose into linen! I have seen myself collapsing between the pulpit of the Prophet ﷺ and the chamber of ʿĀʾishah, overcome by hunger, and a man would come and sit on my chest, and I would say: 'There is nothing wrong with me, it is only from hunger.'" He said: And he said: "I was a hired servant of Ibn ʿAffān and of the daughter of Ghazwān, for the sake of a turn at riding and the filling of my belly," or he said: "for the food of my belly. I would serve them when they alighted, and drive their mounts for them when they set out." He said: "One day she said: 'You will ride it standing, and you will bring it to the water barefoot!' He said: Then God Almighty married her to me! So I said: 'You will bring it to the water barefoot, and you will ride it while it is standing!'" He said: And there was some joking in him, meaning Abū Hurayrah.
