✧ What suffices a man of clothing

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ، قَالَ
فِي الْكِتَابِ الَّذِي كَتَبَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لِعَمْرِو بْنِ حَزْمٍ: لَا يُصَلِّيَنَّ أَحَدُكُمْ فِي الثَّوْبِ الْوَاحِدِ إِلَّا مُخَالِفًا بَيْنَ طَرَفَيْهِ
Translation
✧ In the letter which the Messenger of God ﷺ wrote to ʿAmr b. Ḥazm: None of you should pray in a single garment unless he places one end over the opposite shoulder.
