✧ What suffices a man of clothing

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ:
قُلْتُ لِعَطَاءٍ: مَا أَدْنَى مَا أُصَلِّي فِيهِ مِنَ الثِّيَابِ صَلَاةَ التَّطَوُّعِ ؟ قَالَ: فِي ثَوْبٍ قُلْتُ: مُتَوَشِّحًا ؟ قَالَ: نَعَمْ
Translation
✧ I said to ʿAṭāʾ: What is the least clothing in which I may pray a supererogatory prayer? He said: In a single garment. I said: Wrapped around? He said: Yes.
