قَالَ عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ:
وَسَمِعْتُ أَبَا حَنِيفَةَ، يُسْأَلُ عَنْ رَجُلٍ قَذَفَ رَجُلًا فَلَمَّا رَفَعَهُ قَالَ: إِنَّ أُمَّهُ يَهُودِيَّةٌ أَوْ نَصْرَانِيَّةٌ قَالَ: " يُسْأَلُ هَذَا - يَعْنِي الْبَيِّنَةَ - أَنَّ أُمَّهُ حُرَّةٌ مُسْلِمَةٌ ".
