عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ:
قُلْتُ لِعَطَاءٍ: الْقُرْآنُ كَانَ عَلَى امْرَأَةٍ فَحَاضَتْ أَوْ أَصَابَتْهَا جَنَابَةٌ أَتَنْزِعُهَا ؟ قَالَ: إِذَا كَانَ فِي قَصَبَةٍ فَلَا بَأْسَ قُلْتُ: فَكَانَ فِي رُقْعَةٍ ؟ فَقَالَ: هَذِهِ أَبْغَضُ إِلَيَّ، قُلْتُ: فَلِمَ يَخْتَلِفَانِ ؟ قَالَ: إِنَّ الْقَصَبَةَ هِيَ أَكَفُّ مِنَ الرُّقْعَةِ
Translation
✧ I said to ʿAṭāʾ: "Quran was on a woman and she menstruated or became junub—should she remove it?" He said: "If it is in a tube, there is no harm." I said: "What if it is on a piece of parchment?" He said: "That is more disliked to me." I said: "Why do they differ?" He said: "The tube is more protective than the piece of parchment."
