عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ:
قُلْتُ لِعَطَاءٍ: كَمْ يُطَلِّقُ الْعَبْدُ الْحُرَّةَ ؟ قَالَ: " يَقُولُ نَاسٌ: الْعِدَّةُ وَالطَّلَاقُ لِلنِّسَاءِ. وَقَالَ نَاسٌ: الطَّلَاقُ لِلرِّجَالِ مَا كَانُوا وَالْعِدَّةُ لِلنِّسَاءِ مَا كُنَّ ". قُلْتُ: فَأَيُّ ذَلِكَ أَعْجَبُ إِلَيْكَ ؟ قَالَ: " الطَّلَاقُ لِلرِّجَالِ، وَالْعِدَّةُ لِلنِّسَاءِ
