✧ A man having intercourse with his wife after she sees purity but before she performs ghusl

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ حَبِيبٍ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ
فِي قَوْلِهِ: ﴿وَلا تَقْرَبُوهُنَّ حَتَّى يَطْهُرْنَ فَإِذَا تَطَهَّرْنَ فَأْتُوهُنَّ مِنْ حَيْثُ ﴾قَالَ: لِلنِّسَاءِ طُهْرَانِ: طُهْرٌ، قَوْلُهُ: ﴿حَتَّى يَطْهُرْنَ ﴾يَقُولُ: إِذَا تَطَهَّرْنَ مِنَ الدَّمِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَغْتَسِلْنَ، وَقَوْلُهُ: إِذَا تَطَهَّرْنَ أَيْ إِذَا اغْتَسَلْنَ، وَلَا تَحِلُّ لِزَوْجِهَا حَتَّى تَغْتَسِلَ، يَقُولُ: ﴿فَأْتُوهُنَّ مِنْ حَيْثُ أَمَرَكُمُ اللهُ ﴾مِنْ حَيْثُ يَخْرُجُ الدَّمُ، فَإِنْ لَمْ يَأْتِهَا مِنْ حَيْثُ أُمِرَ فَلَيْسَ مِنَ التَّوَّابِينَ، وَلَا مِنَ الْمُتَطَهِّرِينَ.
Translation
✧ Regarding His saying: "And do not approach them until they are pure. And when they have purified themselves, then come to them from where..." He said: Women have two purities: purity, as in His saying "until they are pure," meaning when they become pure from blood before performing ghusl; and His saying "when they have purified themselves," meaning when they have performed ghusl. She is not lawful for her husband until she performs ghusl. He says: "then come to them from where Allah has commanded you," from where the blood comes out. If he does not come to her from where he was commanded, then he is not among the repentant nor among those who purify themselves.
