✧ How Much of the Ablution Is a Single Pour

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنْ إِسْرَائِيلَ، عَنْ عَامِرِ بْنِ شَقِيقٍ، عَنْ شَقِيقِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ قَالَ:
رَأَيْتُ عُثْمَانَ بْنَ عَفَّانَ تَوَضَّأَ فَغَسَلَ كَفَّيْهِ ثَلَاثًا ثَلَاثًا، وَمَضْمَضَ، وَاسْتَنْشَقَ، وَاسْتَنْثَرَ، وَغَسَلَ وَجْهَهُ ثَلَاثًا - قَالَ: وَحَسِبْتُهُ قَالَ -: وَذِرَاعَيْهِ ثَلَاثًا ثَلَاثًا، ثُمَّ مَسَحَ بِرَأْسِهِ، وَأُذُنَيْهِ ظَاهِرَهُمَا وَبَاطِنَهُمَا، وَغَسَلَ قَدَمَيْهِ ثَلَاثًا ثَلَاثًا، وَخَلَّلَ أَصَابِعَهُ، وَخَلَّلَ لِحْيَتَهُ حِينَ غَسَلَ وَجْهَهُ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَغْسِلَ قَدَمَيْهِ، ثُمَّ قَالَ: رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَفْعَلُ كَالَّذِي رَأَيْتُمُونِي فَعَلْتُ
Translation
✧ I saw 'Uthman b. 'Affan perform ablution: he washed his palms three times each, rinsed his mouth, sniffed water and blew it out, washed his face three times—he said: and I think he said—and his forearms three times each, then wiped his head and his ears, their outside and inside, and washed his feet three times each, and ran his fingers between his fingers and through his beard when he washed his face before washing his feet, then said: 'I saw the Messenger of God ﷺ do just as you have seen me do.'
