✧ How Much of the Ablution Is a Single Pour

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي عَطَاءٌ أَنَّهُ بَلَغَهُ عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عَفَّانَ
أَنَّهُ مَضْمَضَ ثَلَاثًا، وَاسْتَنْثَرَ ثَلَاثًا، ثُمَّ أَفْرَغَ عَلَى وَجْهِهِ ثَلَاثًا، وَعَلَى يَدَيْهِ ثَلَاثًا، ثُمَّ غَسَلَ رِجْلَيْهِ ثَلَاثًا ثَلَاثًا، ثُمَّ قَالَ: هَكَذَا تَوَضَّأَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ. قَالَ: وَلَمْ أَسْتَيْقِنْهَا عَنْ عُثْمَانَ لَمْ أَزِدْ عَلَيْهِ، وَلَمْ أَنْقُصْ
Translation
✧ That he rinsed his mouth three times, sniffed water and blew it out three times, then poured water over his face three times, and over his hands three times, then washed his feet three times each, then said: 'Thus did the Prophet ﷺ perform ablution.' He said: I was not certain about it from 'Uthman, so I did not add to it nor subtract.
