أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ:
قُلْتُ لِعَطَاءٍ: كَيْفَ يَقُولُ الْخَاطِبُ ؟ قَالَ: " يُعَرِّضُ وَلَا يَبُوحُ بِشَيْءٍ، إِنَّ لِي حَاجَةً، وَأَبْشَرِي، فَأَنْتِ بِحَمْدِ اللهِ نَافِقَةٌ، وَتَقُولُ هِيَ: قَدْ أَسْمَعُ مَا تَقُولُ: وَلَا تَعِدُ شَيْئًا، وَلَا تَقُولُ لَعَلَّ ذَلِكَ
