✧ The virgin and the woman in nifas

أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ الْجُعْفِيِّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ قَالَ:
يَنْتَظِرُ الْبِكْرُ إِذَا وَلَدَتْ وَتَطَاوَلَ بِهَا أَرْبَعِينَ لَيْلَةً، ثُمَّ تَغْتَسِلُ
Translation
✧ If a virgin gives birth and the bleeding is prolonged, she should wait forty nights, then perform ghusl.
