✧ The virgin and the woman in nifas

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ: أُخْبِرْتُ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ مَوْلَى ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ:
إِنْ لَمْ تَطْهُرِ الْبِكْرُ فِي سَبْعٍ، فَأَرْبَعَ عَشْرَةَ وَإِحْدَى وَعِشْرِينَ، وَأَقْصَى ذَلِكَ أَرْبَعِينَ لَيْلَةً
Translation
✧ If a virgin is not purified of her lochia in seven days, then [she waits] fourteen and twenty-one days, and the maximum of that is forty nights.
