Translation

✧ ʿUmar wrote to Abū ʿUbaydah b. al-Jarrāḥ: “It has reached me that women from among the Muslim women in your region enter the bathhouse with polytheist women. Forbid that most strictly. It is not lawful for a woman who believes in God and the Last Day that anyone other than the people of her own religion should see her private parts.”
