✧ A man's covering when performing ghusl

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ خُثَيْمٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الطُّفَيْلِ:
لَمَّا بُنِيَ الْبَيْتُ كَانَ النَّاسُ يَنْقُلُونَ الْحِجَارَةَ، وَالنَّبِيُّ ﷺ يَنْقُلُ مَعَهُمْ، فَأَخَذَ الثَّوْبَ، فَوَضَعَهُ عَلَى عَاتِقِهِ قَالَ: فَنُودِيَ: لَا تَكْشِفْ عَوْرَتَكَ قَالَ: فَأَلْقَى الْحَجَرَ وَلَبِسَ ثَوْبَهُ
Translation
✧ When the House was being built, the people were carrying stones, and the Prophet ﷺ was carrying with them. He took the garment and placed it on his shoulder. He said: Then it was called out: Do not uncover your private parts. He said: So he threw down the stone and put on his garment.
