عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أُمَيَّةَ قَالَ:
ذَهَبَ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَوْفٍ، وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ، أَوْ خَالِدُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ إِلَى غَدِيرٍ بِظَاهِرِ الْحَرَّةِ فَاغْتَسَلَا، فَرَجَعَا فَأَخْبَرَا النَّبِيَّ ﷺ عَنْ مَخْرَجِهِمَا حَتَّى أَخْبَرَا عَنِ اغْتِسَالِهِمَا، قَالَ: فَكَيْفَ فَعَلْتُمَا ؟ قَالَ: سَتَرْتُ عَلَيْهِ حَتَّى إِذَا اغْتَسَلَ سَتَرَ عَلَيَّ حَتَّى اغْتَسَلْتُ. قَالَ: لَوْ فَعَلْتُمَا غَيْرَ ذَلِكَ لَأَوْجَعْتُكُمَا ضَرْبًا
Translation
✧ 'Abd al-Rahman b. 'Awf and Abu Bakr, or Khalid b. al-Walid, went to a pool at the edge of the lava field and performed ghusl. They returned and told the Prophet ﷺ about their outing until they told him about their ghusl. He said: How did you two do it? He said: I screened him until he washed, then he screened me until I washed. He said: If you had done otherwise, I would have caused you pain with a beating.
