✧ A man sleeping while junub, or eating or drinking

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ،
عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ سَأَلَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ: أَنَامُ وَأَنَا جُنُبٌ ؟ فَقَالَ: تَوَضَّأْ وُضُوءَكَ لِلصَّلَاةِ. وَقَالَ سَالِمٌ: نص إضافيفَكَانَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ إِذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يَنَامَ أَوْ يَطْعَمَ، وَهُوَ جُنُبٌ غَسَلَ فَرْجَهُ وَوَجْهَهُ وَيَدَيْهِ، لَا يَزِيدُ عَلَى ذَلِكَ.
Translation
✧ From Ibn Umar: He asked the Prophet ﷺ: May I sleep while junub? He said: Perform wudu as for prayer. Salim said: Ibn Umar, when he wanted to sleep or eat while junub, would wash his private part, face, and hands, not doing more than that.
