Translation

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ used to consult his daughters when he married them off. He said: He would sit at the curtain of the betrothed woman and say, "So-and-so mentions So-and-so." If she moved the curtain, he would not marry her off; and if she remained silent, he would marry her off.
