عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ قَالَ:
سَمِعْتُ أَيُّوبَ يَسْأَلُ مَطَرًا الْوَرَّاقَ عَنْ رَجُلٍ قَالَ: امْرَأَتُهُ طَالِقٌ إِنْ دَخَلَتْ دَارَ فُلَانٍ، فَدَخَلَتْ، وَهُوَ لَا يَعْلَمُ، وَجَعَلَ يَغْشَاهَا وَهُوَ لَا يَعْلَمُ ! قَالَ مَطَرٌ: كَانَ الْحَسَنُ وَابْنُ الْمُسَيِّبِ يَقُولَانِ: " غِشْيَانُهُ إِيَّاهَا رَجْعَةٌ، وَلَكِنْ لِيُشْهِدْ
Translation
✧ I heard Ayyub ask Matar al-Warraq about a man who said: 'His wife is divorced if she enters so-and-so's house,' and she entered while he did not know, and he kept having intercourse with her while he did not know! Matar said: 'Al-Hasan and Ibn al-Musayyib used to say: "His having intercourse with her is a taking back, but let him have witnesses."
