أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ التُّنُوخِيُّ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ أَبِي عَبْلَةَ قَالَ:
كَانَتْ لِي أَرْضٌ بِجِزْيَتِهَا، فَكَتَبَ فِيهَا عَامِلِي إِلَى عُمَرَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، فَكَتَبَ عُمَرُ " أَنِ اقْبِضِ الْجِزْيَةَ وَالْعُشُورَ، ثُمَّ خُذْ مِنْهُ الْفَضْلَ
Translation
✧ I had land subject to its jizya, so my agent wrote about it to Umar b. Abd al-Aziz, and Umar wrote: "Collect the jizya and the tithes, then take the surplus from him."
