أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ حَسَّانَ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ:
أَنَّهُ بَعَثَهُ عَلَى الْأَيْلَةِ، قَالَ: فَقُلْتُ: " بَعَثْتَنِي عَلَى شَرِّ عَمَلِكَ ! " قَالَ: ثُمَّ أَخْرَجَ إِلَيَّ كِتَابَ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ
Translation
✧ He sent him to Ayla. He said: "I said: 'You have sent me to the worst of your work!'" He said: "Then he brought out to me the letter of 'Umar b. al-Khattab."
