أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ رَاشِدٍ،
أَنَّ عُمَرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ قَالَ فِي الرَّجُلِ يُؤْسَرُ فَيَتَنَصَّرُ، قَالَ: " إِذَا عُلِمَ ذَلِكَ بَرِئَتْ مِنْهُ امْرَأَتُهُ، وَاعْتَدَّتْ ثَلَاثَةَ قُرُوءٍ
Translation
✧ Umar b. Abd al-Aziz said regarding a man who is taken captive and becomes Christian, he said: "When that is known, his wife is acquitted from him and she observes a waiting period of three menstrual cycles."
