أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا الثَّوْرِيُّ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ قَالَ:
سَأَلْتُ ابْنَ الْمُسَيِّبِ عَنِ الْمُرْتَدِّ: كَمْ تَعْتَدُّ امْرَأَتُهُ ؟ قَالَ: " ثَلَاثَةَ قُرُوءٍ. قُلْتُ: قُتِلَ ؟ قَالَ: " أَرْبَعَةَ أَشْهُرٍ وَعَشْرًا
Translation
✧ I asked Ibn al-Musayyib about an apostate: How long should his wife observe a waiting period? He said: "Three menstrual cycles." I said: If he is killed? He said: "Four months and ten days."
