✧ Two polytheists separate

أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا الثَّوْرِيُّ
فِي مُشْرِكٍ طَلَّقَ مُشْرِكَةً، فَلَمْ تَعْتَدَّ حَتَّى أَسْلَمَتْ، قَالَ: " تَعْتَدُّ ثَلَاثَةَ قُرُوءٍ. قَالَ: " وَلَا مِيرَاثَ لَهَا "، وَقَالَ: فِي مُشْرِكٍ مَاتَ عَنْ مُشْرِكَةٍ، فَأَسْلَمَتْ قَبْلَ انْقِضَاءِ عِدَّتِهَا، قَالَ: " تَعْتَدُّ ثَلَاثَةَ أَشْهُرٍ وَعَشْرًا، وَيُحْتَسَبُ بِمَا مَضَى مِنْ عِدَّتِهَا فِي الشِّرْكِ قَبْلَ أَنْ تُسْلِمَ
Translation
✧ Regarding a polytheist who divorced a polytheist woman but she did not complete her waiting period until after she became Muslim, he said: "She should observe a waiting period of three menstrual cycles." He said: "And there is no inheritance for her." And he said regarding a polytheist who died leaving a polytheist wife, and she became Muslim before her waiting period ended, he said: "She should observe a waiting period of three months and ten days, and what has passed of her waiting period during the time of polytheism before she became Muslim is to be counted."
