أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ:
كَتَبَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِلَى مَجُوسِ هَجَرَ يَدْعُوهُمْ إِلَى الْإِسْلَامِ: فَمَنْ أَسْلَمَ قَبِلَ مِنْهُ الْحَقَّ، وَمَنْ أَبَى كَتَبَ عَلَيْهِ الْجِزْيَةَ، وَلَا تُؤْكَلُ لَهُمْ ذَبِيحَةٌ، وَلَا تُنْكَحُ مِنْهُمُ امْرَأَةٌ
Translation
✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ wrote to the Magians of Hajar inviting them to Islam: whoever accepts Islam has the truth accepted from him, and whoever refuses has the jizya imposed on him, their slaughtered animals are not to be eaten, and their women are not to be married.
