✧ Taking jizya from the Magians

أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ يَعْقُوبَ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ وَإِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَغَيْرِهِمَا:
أَنَّ نَبِيَّ اللهِ ﷺ نص إضافيأَخَذَ الْجِزْيَةَ مِنْ مَجُوسِ هَجَرَ، وَأَنَّ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ أَخَذَ مِنْ مَجُوسِ السَّوَادِ، وَأَنَّ عُثْمَانَ أَخَذَ مِنْ بَرْبَرٍ "
Translation
✧ The Prophet of God ﷺ took the jizya from the Magians of Hajar, ʿUmar b. al-Khaṭṭāb took it from the Magians of al-Sawād, and ʿUthmān took it from the Berbers."
