أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ رُفَيْعٍ، عَنْ حَرَامِ بْنِ مُعَاوِيَةَ، قَالَ:
كَتَبَ إِلَيْنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ: " لَا يُجَاوِرَنَّكُمْ خِنْزِيرٌ، وَلَا يُرْفَعْ فِيكُمْ صَلِيبٌ، وَلَا تَأْكُلُوا عَلَى مَائِدَةٍ يُشْرَبُ عَلَيْهَا الْخَمْرُ، وَأَدِّبُوا الْخَيْلَ، وَامْشُوا بَيْنَ الْغَرَضَيْنِ
Translation
✧ Umar b. al-Khattab wrote to us: 'Do not let pigs be near you, and do not let a cross be raised among you, and do not eat at a table on which wine is drunk, and train the horses, and walk between the two targets.'
