عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي نَافِعٌ
عَنِ اغْتِسَالِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ مِنَ الْجَنَابَةِ، قَالَ: كَانَ يُفْرِغُ عَلَى يَدَيْهِ فَيَغْسِلُهُمَا، ثُمَّ يَغْرِفُ بِيَدِهِ الْيُمْنَى فَيَصُبُّ عَلَى فَرْجِهِ فَيَغْسِلُهُ بِيَدِهِ الشِّمَالِ، فَإِذَا فَرَغَ مِنْ غَسْلِ فَرْجِهِ غَسَلَ الشِّمَالَ، ثُمَّ مَضْمَضَ وَاسْتَنْثَرَ وَنَضَحَ فِي عَيْنَيْهِ، ثُمَّ بَدَأَ بِوَجْهِهِ فَغَسَلَهُ، ثُمَّ بِرَأْسِهِ، ثُمَّ بِيَدِهِ الْيُمْنَى، ثُمَّ بِالشِّمَالِ، ثُمَّ غَرَفَ بِيَدَيْهِ كِلْتَيْهِمَا عَلَى سَائِرِ جَسَدِهِ بَعْدُ فَغَسَلَهُ قَالَ: وَلَمْ يَكُنْ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ يَنْضَحُ فِي عَيْنَيْهِ الْمَاءَ إِلَّا فِي غُسْلِ الْجَنَابَةِ، فَأَمَّا الْوُضُوءُ لِلصَّلَاةِ فَلَا
Translation
✧ Regarding the ghusl of 'Abdullah b. 'Umar from janabah. He said: 'He would pour water over his hands and wash them, then scoop with his right hand and pour over his private part, washing it with his left hand. When he finished washing his private part, he washed the left hand, then rinsed his mouth, inhaled water into his nose, and sprinkled water into his eyes. Then he began with his face and washed it, then his head, then his right hand, then the left. Then he scooped with both hands over the rest of his body afterwards and washed it.' He said: 'Abdullah b. 'Umar would not sprinkle water into his eyes except in the ghusl of janabah. As for wudu' for prayer, no.'
