حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ وَهَنَّادٌ وَقُتَيْبَةُ قَالُوا حَدَّثَنَا وِكِيعٌ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ح قَالَ وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ تَوَضَّأَ مَرَّةً مَرَّةً

    رواه عبد الله بن زيد عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم وقال حسن غريب وخرجه أيضا من حديث ابن عباس وقال هو أحسن شيء في هذا الباب وأصح

    machine translationʿAbdullāh b. Zayd narrated it from the Prophet ﷺ, and he said: good and strange (ḥasan gharīb). He also recorded it from the ḥadīth of Ibn ʿAbbās and said: it is the best thing on this topic and the most sound (aṣaḥḥ).

Sinān contradicted him and narrated it from Zayd b. Aslam, from Ibn ʿUmar, from the Prophet ﷺ. Both are mistaken (wahm). The correct version is from Zayd b. Aslam, from ʿAṭāʾ b. Yasār, from Ibn ʿAbbās; this is how the memorizers (ḥuffāẓ) narrated it from Zayd b. Aslam.
