Notes

machine translationHe said: On this topic there are narrations from Ibn ʿAbbās and Abū Rāfiʿ. Abū ʿĪsā said: The ḥadīth of Abū Hurayrah is a good and sound ḥadīth (ḥasan ṣaḥīḥ). Some of the people of knowledge among the Companions of the Prophet ﷺ and others act upon this, and Aḥmad and Isḥāq hold this view. Some of the people of knowledge disliked killing a snake and a scorpion during the prayer. Ibrāhīm said: Indeed, in the prayer there is preoccupation. The first view is more sound.
