What Has Been Related About A Man Who Accepted Islam While Having Ten Wives

حَدَّثَنَا هَنَّادٌ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَةُ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ
أَنَّ غَيْلاَنَ بْنَ سَلَمَةَ الثَّقَفِيَّ أَسْلَمَ وَلَهُ عَشْرُ نِسْوَةٍ فِي الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ فَأَسْلَمْنَ مَعَهُ فَأَمَرَهُ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ أَنْ يَتَخَيَّرَ أَرْبَعًا مِنْهُنَّ

"Ghilan bin Salamah Ath-Thaqafi accepted Islam and he had ten wives in Jahiliyyah who accepted Islam along with him. So the Prophet ordered (him) to chose four (of them)."
