Thulathiyyat (Musnad Ahmad) 257

Musnad al-Sāʾib ibn Yazīd, of Kūfah and Madīnah (may Allah be pleased with him)

Translation

Al-Sāʾib ibn Yazīd (may Allah be pleased with him) reported — Sufyān once qualifying it with “if Allah wills” — that the Prophet (ﷺ) ﷺ wore two coats of mail, one over the other, on the Day of Uḥud; Sufyān narrated it another time without that qualification. Reference: Musnad Aḥmad 257
